Loving a boy who is not a virgin?

I know at my age thinking about virgin and not a virgin is not really the right think to do, but there is this boy I love he is sweet and very funny. But he has had proper sex. It sounds like he is trying to impress me but no it is proper sex! I told my friend I love him and she said" HIM! He is weird he had sex!" I told her I am sensible and I'm only 9 sex would be the last thing I would do next to pregnancy. I love him but I don't know if its the right thing to do. Do you think Im dum to love him or just crazily in love?
