How to tell my mom i shaved?? HELP?

Hey..I am 13 years old and am crazily SHY. I know i can talk anything to my mom but i am just scared and i don't even wanna mention it. I started shaving secretly a few days back and im pretty sure my mom knows. But all im scared abt is a confrontation cuz again i am shy. I wanna speak out to my mom but i am just not able to. Is there anythin i could do about this. I really love my mom and i don't want to hurt her and i know most answers would be "just tell your mom" and "whats the worst that could happen". Well I know that..but all i am is that im scared to look into her and tell her the truth. (And one more thing why is it so easy to talk to someone outside your immediate family that someone in them??)
