Final Fantasy X Level 3 Spheres?

So pretty much all of my characters have finished their sphere grids and need Lvl. 3 spheres in order to move on. Does anyone know where I can get them and at what part of the game? Or if you have any advice on other ways to upgrade my characters since their all pretty much just stacking sphere levels since I can't do much with them.
