How do you play good defense in volleyball?

Well I'm not sure if you are talking about yourself or in general, but playing good defense relies mostly on hustle. Also getting blocks at the net is considered good defense. "Digs" which are often done with the bump is also good defense. Other than that, diving for balls and keeping points alive are both good ways to play good defense.
